How to
calculate your rate? |
| |
Our rate is calculated based on three
components, weight, cubic volume, and our minimum charge. The rate applied
depending on which warehouse the freight originates and its final destination.
We first weigh and measure all shipments we receive. Multiply all three
dimensions of the freight (in inches) to arrive at the cubic inches. Divide the
cubic inches by 1728 (12x12x12) to get the cubic foot measurement. Multiply the
weight with our weight rate and multiply the cubic footage by the cubic rate.
We charge the greater amount. If both of the figures are less then $25.00, then
the minimum charge of $25.00 applies. Our upset rate for cubic weight is 10
lbs. per cubic foot. Please contact our office for special rates on full
truckload, oversized shipments, etc. |

Can I bring
in my freight earlier? |
| |
Yes. You can bring in your
non-perishable freight two weeks in advance of the loading day for your
destination. We only accept perishable freight on the day of loading, which is
from 8:00am to 2:00pm every Thursday.
We encourage all our clients to
bring in the non-perishable freight before Thursday, preferably on Wednesday to
avoid the line up at the dock. |

When do I
have to pickup my freight? |
| |
You have to pickup your freight
within 1 week after being notified of the freight arrival at our warehouse
points. Any freight not picked up will be returned to the shipper at the
shipper's expense and storage charges applied at a minimum of $7 per month per
standard pallet. |

What if I am
unable to pickup my freight right after it has been delivered to the
destination warehouse? |
| |
In this case, you have to make prior
arrangement with us to avoid your freight being shipped back. We offer storage
services for a small fee when space is available. |
| 5. |
Do you offer
local pickup and delivery services? |
| |
Yes. We pickup and delivery freight
for our clients as interline services. Please refer to our interline tariff for
charges that may apply. |
